Putting Your Page on the Web

All Blue Moon users have a web page already in their HTML directory. If you are new to html or have already customized your page to your liking and are ready to show it to the rest of the world, here are a few links for you to get you going.

We don't support Microsoft's Front Page Extensions on the Blue Moon servers. Adding Front Page extensions to internet standard unix webservers can expose a number of different security holes for which only Micro$oft can provide patches. Their record of timely responses to securiy risks is not something we are confident about. Most versions of Front Page can use the FTP protocol to upload pages so Front Page itself is useable with our servers, just not with its proprietary Micro$soft server features.
